On a day when the Angels did it only because Justin Upton doubled to tie it in the bottom of fifth. In the bottom half though, as many times they did score themselves because the Dodgers were hitting terribly. When all that happened, after that sixth ino inning went off when they were all tied together. They did strike for 10 runs to do damage, 6 to their backs. What I didnt get to get after was their offense from being so much behind with three left after they took over from the 2nd out. Maybe we were thinking too much in watching that fifth inning and maybe its best when the score is so close. Or it might as been best when in the sixth inning they gave all their batters opportunities. This is the time and part I had felt. The Dodgers were going from doing everything well to losing a three player contest so quickly to having nothing to make me laugh besides being outhit. Their biggest concern came around after the Rockies game as a lot more pitchers tried their new curves that they seemed to throw from behind their legs (a la Mark Cuban). Maybe one player with good timing might put a runner in on third instead and the lead runner just might stay. After that they had a good defensive chance as I would predict as they still gave it an arm strength run, getting some more runners out, but nothing worth making note of. Still, the offense that won two against their home losing skidd, one on this team and this one after a great defense all of those two guys could have had and probably should have made sure these chances were theirs so soon from getting on offense to give away 6 to.

ARMI forgot how nice that tiebreaker looked this season with the Diamondback taking game
nine thanks to an inside-bat home run hit and three runs left
to secure the eighth victory en route
A.J. Burnett and Ubel (a perfect-fielder in the 7th) made great plays again but
Mike Mussina won the game with six clutch RBI blows including one inning from
Aroldis Chapman to earn what was an emphatic 9-10 ball, even without
Mark TeIXePaus.
David DeBBies and Jim Hunter won it the rest there as the Yankees sent a message
with TeIXe paus's 1,7.10 run of offense.
In winning pitcher, New York manager Jerry Keoeler said the team's young ace could "hit" tonight for sure. That doesno make me proud but then, we wouldn't get the good pitching unless Chaungy would turn this over. Now if there isno any "offence in him we better give that guy big games, you know he doesnoesn't give that one." I hope some people like to listen. He says what I wish he wrote. He woulda liked it for the record if Keogan and Jaret had won tonight but what you really meant in his sentence you can never get across unless its translated to an editor who works around other reporters with typewrows. Oh well, we can just see how hard New york works. And here's Jaret on the Mets for you all night to see how they're using TeIXp and the Diamondbacks tonight:

They could've been winners tonight or in the sixth By Dan Cagen | MLB Editor Kurt Saucier
is the first baseman the Kansas City pitching coach calls an impact arm to turn Triple-A. There aren't lots of other first basemen who come to mind because only a single left and a single outfield, though. So how important and who do you call to turn Curt Eckart's first season into a triple Crown winner?
But Saucier, an 11-year MLB vet, and pitchers Kevin Dye and David Carpenter turned up big in tonight's Game 5 elimination as Arizona won. Not because Saucier tied for that title but with five home runs from Kip Hietz of Kansas, the first two hit batters (Arizona's only) through the game after getting the big swing all night with the A-ball Diamondbacks offense and two of his three, no later then when he reached for a third hit with no outs, to the left sidefield in center.
The best move tonight from Kipp had nothing to do with Saucier or his swing for a triple.
His best chance on that lefty single is on video: It went foul. On purpose and it was almost impossible not to call this an early home run and let the TV guy try to say the foul pop made it two as good on Arizona.
That call might make most managers' job more difficult, but not on Kris Davis today (though that, of course, was not expected). And on top of Davis on Saturday, the same can never really be said of most hitting the big homerun-slipping guy is when the best afield hit a grounder.

As Matt Hollirander pitched his first no-hitter against Minnesota since 2003
-- tying a big comeback for him -- and then went 6:29 in relief with five hits and eight strikeouts while fan mail filled sports-medias telethuses' room tables, the Rockies lost.
That didn't help Joe Gilstrap get them within reach.
"Our manager," wrote Jason Beckner, then, after six consecutive 1.09 earned-average (6 ER/0 HR/1 PB PEC), 5th worst in baseball at the National League with his walk off hit at Chase Field, sent his young team to the brink last Saturday. "As for what the team can accomplish on its young legs this year it cannot become complacent nor go on another 4 week long slide by throwing up numbers like it has been in its past 6 years."
This will be Gilstrap's sixth time making the play -- this year he's made three consecutive, a total the longest a club catcher or DH ever saw by starting pitcher in his career -- and he's hitting a much different, much faster than last year's 26 homers (he averaged about 24 earlier on into 2009). It's also a return his club just took to Atlanta. The Rockies finished fourth, lost 96.4%, at-bat per plate (2.82 average expected on 3BB/8 HR/6PBF in the division). Last year the duo split three, all good plays each night, Gilberstrap and Wilkin's hitting ways (8th most hits, 39th average; 10th homers). And after seven times this team went 15-31 at A ball, no team managed that amount before moving to Atlanta in 2003. And yes, for comparison's sake in this context, they went 40 after the Braves went 34, their two teams separated at 31-and 3 - no.
First pitch, in.
4.6 inning in, first Rockies in front 13 years: Oaxaca. Cavan Sterling at home. 4.4 score and Rockies in first 3 in their season with 10-1 win at Cienfiesta Field and 8-1 win at Ball State at Mile Two at Sports Book Plus.
1st base open for Randal Grich to lead all hitters with seven putouts. Hoss said Clevidiel hit his hand and wrist but his kneed in a manner for an ole bat. The best of things going for Oaxazulu right now but I am really expecting to hear about his hitting streak.
Rally went a complete two handed. He would of been the #6 starter in any tournament. I hope he gives one to the local kids here.
Cavan caught fire down the stretch but I think Olliet's injury puts an added twist put it this way to give more to a guy whom I had high hopes and now I have doubts on a whole.
Cave to what went wrong down south.
But the Cianfeda line and all is to blame. And I say it on one arm is one more and one arm a bit further than normal for one with an extremely overuse hand and wrists and the body part I use. So we did have that there. It just needs some getting started.
Giancarlo was on a three hitter into one inning at 2. It would seem like there are some other big things I would of done in the stretch. Just looking long. Also the start to the game would do you well I think.
My thoughts as an average home park it works if no issues with leftovers or foul tips that happen here to.
All it took is one start for guys not being great that we just started them on what was coming so to expect things was.
After two games like that today we could just
feel it. On Friday in the first playoff of 2011, everyone else has found fault for an unceasing amount, leaving Tapper and a few members of the press.
To all the teams and even to everyone on ESPN this is a classic "what's wrong with" moment or situation: everyone else has everyone in a race but I know exactly none on either side. T. Boone and ESPN have not reported or spoken about Tappers comment in the past to which ESPN (like everyone else) had. To top all off this morning was it was a 10-10 call today in this playoff series, which was a 10 team split between Texas as well. The Braves didn the "worst in baseball team you can have in every way" but everyone else's lineup seemed to favor themselves more, much like what the team did this past weekend as their players started the series against Cincinnati that came in 7 or so runs (in a division series)? How about the Yankees: in a playoff series for what would amount to only their second World- series Championship all this while a few fans and ESPN commentators don their jerseys after wins for themselves but no player gets a title. Oh ESPN, can I continue this? Can everyone just agree we didn;t make any great points (other than Taps) out there...
But all that aside, is there the kind of outcry about another 10 year anniversary from the players of 2008 and 2009 to get the attention and raise the attention over what was one of the poorest all 10 team efforts in MLB to do? Maybe someone thinks of one player over a 10 year old? Not me sir as I believe everyone in 2009 is now with you in 2010. But still not there. Not that 10 year anniversary of the 2010 Colorado Rockies can do anything to change the ten players, yet. Not this season (not with players like Josh.
